Espresso Martinis just got better

The Espresso Martini is a sumptuous cocktail traditionally made with vodka, coffee liqueur, and espresso. Who’d have guessed that vodka and espresso would go so nicely together? It’s rich, decadent, and creamy, but what if we told you that we can take your espresso martini to a whole new level?

To improve upon a favourite, go to the experts

Mr Barista stands on the shoulders of three giants, a heroic collaboration between Nil Desprandum, international coffee house Segafredo Zanetti Coffee, and Nutworks on the Sunshine Coast creating the next evolution of espresso martinis.

And what better place to start than Nil Desperandum’s own molasses spirit. Wild fermented and double distilled, however in this instance not oak-aged for 2 years (the Australian legal requirement for rum production), this base was selected to give Mr Barista coffee macadamia liqueur a rich, strong, and unique flavour profile.

The classic Segafredo Zanetti blend of cold-brewed coffees is then combined with this to give it the aromatic and wonderful taste that any good Espresso Martini deserves. From the production of raw beans on plantations to their technique of blending and roasting, Segafredo’s coffee is made by hand. Segafredo’s reputation for delivering the perfect mix of the world’s most famous and appreciated Italian coffees, made them the only choice Mr Barista.

And, as a perfect finishing touch, the specialists at Nutworks in Yandina use twice-roasted macadamia nuts for next-level flavour.  The nuts are macerated to lend a touch of oily nuttiness complementing Mr Barista’s rich taste brilliantly.

Three icons of their respective fields, each providing the perfect ingredient to create an expertly balanced Espresso Martini Mix that celebrates each element – distinctive, sweet molasses, bold and generous espresso and the rich roasted deliciousness of our world-famous indigenous nut – grown and harvested on the Sunshine Coast.

And if you can’t take our word for it, it’s well and truly time you tried it for yourself.
